My Dear Mutter
I want to ask you if you think it requisite that our little ones should be Christened, neither of them are, and would you and my Pater be Godparents to them by proxy? If you and My Pater were, Mr. and Mrs. Sanderson would be the others, I think, not that I wish to give any trouble or responsibility to their Godparents, if you think it proper they should be Christened, but it shall be as you decide. Please tell me what you think of the photographs. Wont you and dear Pater send me yours? I should so dearly like to have them, and I should prize them so much and I want your portrait for our new little home when we get one again. You know we have always had one of Dear Pater's to look at but not our Dear Mutter's. The affairs are not wound up yet. Mr. Sanderson was enquiring about them for me, as I was not able, a short time ago. I shall be glad when they are. I enclose you a little piece of the children's hair, perhaps you may like to have it, and you can form a better idea of them I think. I have not been well for some time, I am trying cold water hip baths, and if that does no good the Doctor says I must be examined. I hope you are much better than when My Dear Pater last wrote to me. With much love I am My Dear Mutter
