Coventry | May 10/80.
My dear Marian,
It is better to send you our good wishes for the chance of their meeting you, than to keep silence when our thoughts are so busy about you.
You know very well how warm and sincere those wishes are, and knowing only the bare fact of your marriage, it is a comfort to know that you have now one to protect and cherish you; and hence we are prophecying no end of good and great work and even happiness -- for many years after we have all slipped away. Our blessing will follow you through this new phase of your life. With best love
Always your affectionate
Cara.
