My dear Sir
The decided assurance contained in your letter of this morning as to the availableness of your article has determined me to omit one of the articles I had agreed to insert in order to enable me to give place to yours in the April number.
Please therefore to let me have the proof of the Pamphlet as it is to be worked off, so that the type may be afterwards used for the Article. It does not seem to me to look quite the thing that a reprint of an Article from the Westminster should be published separately by another house, and intrinsically, as I said before, the Pamphlet is one which I should be glad to publish; therefore if you have no decided reason for preferring Simpkin & Co. perhaps you will order my name to remain on the Pamphlet. 202 But if you have, I beg you will tell me so as frankly as I have spoken on the subject.
How many copies of the Pamphlet will you print?
