Yesterday Molly 301 and I drove up to the Priory where we passed a most charming hour with Mrs. Lewes. She was in great spirits and talked much with Molly enquiring if she ever intended to send her father a M.S. I said writing apparently does not run in the family. She said with empressement, "Writing good letters certainly does." She enquired minutely as to Molly's dress for the reception, from which I learn that it is to be green with orange flowers. . . .
