My Dear Langford
I felt that all the turmoil of London at present might put me out so I have reluctantly postponed my visit.
I have written to her. 160 What a blank she will feel! I am very anxious to hear anything about her and I hope you may have been able to learn something as to how she is today.
always yours truly
John Blackwood.
