My dear Major
If it is not too late will you correct a misprint at page 71 of volume I of "Clerical Scenes" 7th line from the bottom, instead of "Mr. Ely's exceptionable presence" read "Mr. E's exceptional presence" an awkward mistake which has been overlooked by us all.
Further at page 165 same volume line 6 from bottom instead of "milk the geese; y'er silly" read "milk the geese, you silly!" 192 The first erratum, if it come too late, may be rectified by a line after the fly leaf.
I'm just going out and have nothing I must say.
