By this post goes the precious m.s. of Part VI. In acknowledging its receipt will you relieve our anxiety about the invaluable Simpson?
I suppose your uncle is not yet home again. We hope he will have vastly enjoyed the trip though the weather has not been propitious.
Mrs. Lewes continues to flourish in this unbroken peace and I think the evidence thereof is visible in Part VI. I have not been so well as before we left town, but also look forward to a rejuvenescence.
