Please have a slip inserted in Part VI of the enclosed erratum. 490 On Monday I shall despatch more m.s. which you will have set up at once so that we may get proof on Thursday morning -- we start on Friday.
Your uncle came yesterday and brought the glad tidings of the dark horse [Jack] having been well in at the winning post! 491
