My dear Willie
My engagement with the Americans is not to publish till the 1st or with the Magazines of the 1st and if the Reviewers have their copies too long before the public it will look awkward. Therefore I should suggest delaying the press copies till Monday -- but so that the public does not get them and none can get to America before the 1st I do not care.
We are looking forward to your Uncle's visit. 402 -- By the way tell Mr. Simpson not to send more proofs to Osgood and Co. -- they have transferred their contract to Harpers. 403 I will write in due time about sending proofs of part II.
List of presentation copies on the other side.
Ever yours
