My dear Willie
We have but just settled in our lodgings after arriving last night, 598 and though Mrs. Lewes is going to write an account of our journey to your uncle when she sends the Finale, I will not wait for that to send you our address (whither proofs may be forwarded) and to say that we got here somewhat fatigued after a very pleasant journey, but find winter cold -- and indeed have been forced to have the oven lighted so cold has it become. More I haven't time to say. Not seen your friend yet!
