Monday.
My dear Trollope
We were vexed to find that we had missed you and still more that you had not left your address which however I got from Chapman yesterday. Now we must have a glimpse of you in your brief stay but as you are of course much engaged we wish you to fix the day and hour. On Wednesday we have a party but I don't suppose you would care to come to that. Will you lunch at 1.30 or dine at 6.30 with us on Thursday? &unknown;or if&unknown; Choose the hour most convenient to you. Or if neither will do will you come and lunch on Sunday?
Ever yours
G. H. Lewes.
