The Priory, | 21. North Bank, | Regents Park.
November 71.
Dear Sir
Mrs. Lewes is just now so absorbed and exhausted by work that I relieve her of all correspondence when practicable; she begs me, in her name, to thank you for your present of [For Very Life] 62 -- She wishes this done at once because some months must necessarily elapse before she will be free to profit by your kindness.
Yours truly
G. H. Lewes.
