My dear Blackwood
The pursuit of zoology under difficulties in March gales has brought me here at last. Weatherbound at Penzance I have been eyeing the sea and sky with wistful glances; and for four days remained with corded boxes and without change of linen, to be tumbled about on the Atlantic at last in rare style. The place however is enchanting; quite surpassing all my expectations; and it promises good material, both Maga-wise and animal-wise. The weather is perfect, or would be if a little warmer.
I'm hurrying with letters to catch the post which only goes out twice a week so having given notice of my whereabouts to the best of editors I break off with
