Dear Blackwood
We start on Monday -- will you therefore please by return of post let me know whether we can sell Ticknor and Fields the early sheets of Lisa, as I want to conclude this before starting. I forgot in writing to you that this was just the pressure of the end of the month, and did not therefore say [drop me a line yes or no.]
Our souls are ill at ease and languish for the purple seas. You will hear from one of us from the South. 38
Yours truly
G. H. Lewes.
