Wednesday.
My dear Sir
On returning home from a most pleasant visit to Mrs. Fields I find your note. Mrs. Lewes is quite willing to let [Agatha] be published in the A.M. 853; and we will concoct a Letter or Prefatory Note which we will submit to you when ready.
In case you should contemplate calling this week I may as well say that on each day there is danger of our not being alone -- Saturday certainly not alone. Perhaps Monday 854 would be the safest.
Ever yours truly
G. H. Lewes.
