Chapman & Hall have applied to me to direct them to a competent translator for L''c9tourneau's La Biologie -- a book which if you have not seen, I will send you, should your occupations and your inclinations dispose you to undertake the translation. I thought if you were not too busy it might be a bit of work you would like. There is no immediate hurry I fancy, and you would have to fix your own terms. Are you free and disposed? and shall I send you the book?
