The Priory, | 21. North Bank, | Regents Park.
Wednesday 27 September.
My dear Chapman
Mrs. Macquoid, 721 the bearer of this, is the author of Hester Kirton and one or two other novels which have had fair success. She has just finished another, and asks my advice about a publisher. Am I wrong in telling her that the house in Piccadilly, not far from 193, is the one she ought to go to?
Yours ever
G. H. Lewes.
