My dear Beesley
Your Catiline is first-rate. I have taken the liberty of entitling it "An Apology for Catiline" -- as you first named it to me -- because that is an attractive title, and yours is not. 648 You will have proofs shortly, but I fear there will be no possibility of my printing it in No. 1. so that your being too busy for No. 2 will not matter. Only as soon as you have a gap of leisure pray let us have the benefit!
Yours ever
G. H. L.
