Dearest Boy,
I write to let you know that the 7th being the marriage of the Prince of Wales 137 all London will be blocked up with processions and mob during the day and illuminations will crowd the streets with mob all night. Therefore you had better be home on Friday night, otherwise there is a doubt of your getting a cab at the station. I remember what
London was when the Queen was married, and advise you to be home if not to see the sight at least to avoid the deadlock of the mob.
Mutter has been very poorly ever since you left, and we are going to-day to see if Dorking will restore her. We shall probably be back to receive you -- at any rate I shall. On Sunday we drove to Wimbledon to see the Congreves. This is the only "outing" or change we have had since I last wrote.
