Saturday.
My dear Main
Glad you are pleased with the scheme. 760 Take your own time -- there need be no hurry -- when your book is finished C. will publish it. After you have done a chapter or two let me see it, and I may be able to "hint a defect," or say "go on in this style."
You must see Croker's Boswell, 761 not only on its own account, but to avoid coming into collision with Murray with any imitation of it. I will speak to Chapman about sending it to you; also Johnsonianae. Can you not read what else you may want at the St. Andrews University library? No time for more.
Ever yours
G. H. L.
