Dear Sir
Mr. Tr'fcbner had arranged to look in here yesterday to see if Mrs. Lewes approved of the Bookcase -- he either forgot or was unable to keep this engagement, and as he is now, no doubt, on his journey I write to you to say that Mrs. Lewes finds the size of the Bookcase sent her inconveniently large, and would be glad if you could send her in exchange one of the smaller size -- with only two rows. If there should not be one ready she can wait. Meanwhile the one now here will not be used.
