I am doubly delighted with the photographs: first, for their own sake; next, because of your goodness in giving them to me. The little girl is a perfect type -- a splendid little savage. Sincere thanks for this welcome gift.
Your article on the Russian dramatist 820 made a pleasant evening for me on our return yesterday from the woods of Sevenoaks. The article will I think interest Mr. Lewes also, and when he has read it, I will take care to return the Review. Believe me
