Miss Marian Evans presents her compliments to Mr. Watson 246 and begs to thank him for the characteristic sketch of Mr. Combe which he has been kind enough to send her. She believes she heard Mr. Watson say that he would like to possess the autograph of Mazzini, 247 which she has much pleasure in sending him as an earnest of future additions by her to Mr. Watson's valuable collection.
