The Priory, | 21. North Bank, | Regents Park.
August 30. 64.
Dear Sara
Certainly punishments are not fairly distributed in this world. I, who scarcely ever put off answering a letter, did put off writing to you till yesterday, and of course addressed my letter to Harrogate. And now for my immediate direct punishment I find this morning that you were already at Coventry. While wretches who never care to answer letters --
However in the hope that you will get that scrap of a letter from Harrogate I will not repeat what I said therein, but tell you in reply to your question about Charlie, that we don't expect him to be married till next year. Gertrude is going for this next month with her aunts into Brittany, and Charlie's holiday will not happen till next April, May or June.
I am so pleased to hear that you have enjoyed your outing. With best love to Cara
Ever your
Pollian.
