Thanks, dear Sara, for the M.S. I have a headache today in spite of a ramble in Hampstead Heath yesterday, so I am unable to look over it -- that is, the M.S. Certainly I think it quite worth while to send you the rest, and shall only be delighted to do so. But I was afraid of tiring you. The last part will soon be all ready for you -- but after that comes the appendix.
I am going to hear William Tell tomorrow. Vivian has not been well so he abstained from the opera on Saturday. 451
Pray don't impute the Orphic sayings to Alcott. 452 Mr. Lewes dictated the greater number of them to me, as they bubbled up amidst the most careless talk.
