My dear Sara
Cara is the best of interpreters, and therefore I do not fear that she has failed to make you understand that I am quietly enjoying the prospect of having you with me, 667 leaving the when and the how to her and your decision. If you are at all ennuyées of each other Cara can take the left hand and you can take the right when you reach the top of Bishop Street, and you will find yourself in the arms of a friend who will be "agreeable" in the old fashioned sense if not in the new. Ask me not why I have never written all this weary time. I can only answer "all things are full of labour -- man cannot utter it," et seq. See the 1st chapter of Ecclesiastes for my experience.
I suppose Cara is at Woodford. 668 If not, love to her with Mrs. Hennell.
