I want it for the widow of Mr. William Smith, the author of [Thorndale,] a work on which M. Milsand wrote a highly appreciative article in the Revue des deux Mondes. Mrs. Smith wishes to send him, in sign of her gratitude, a memoir of her husband (printed for private circulation).
