Dear Friend
I have been ill and this is the first day of my attempting to write letters. I am apparently getting better, but, am still feeble, though cared for in all things with something better than angelic tenderness. I hope that you are now quite free from anxiety about Mr. Taylor. These two bright days are encouraging.
