My dear Mrs. Malleson 665
I know that you always include among your kind projects for Christmas an angel's visit at my door -- too generally the angel never comes within the door.
I write now to say that we shall spend Christmas week out of town, and also is enclosed our small subscription to your good work of the Working Women's College. 666
It was pleasant to see your face at the corner of the street, and to be reassured by it that you were bright and well. Believe me always
Yours most sincerely
M. E. Lewes.
Mrs. Frank Malleson.
