Dear Madam
I am much interested in the prospectus of the Woman's Hospital which you have sent me. From the prospectus itself as well as from the fact that a lady whose name is on the Committee has told me that she is uncertain whether she shall belong to it, I gather that the scheme is at present in a hypothe[tic] state. When it is quite set on foot we shall like very much to be annual subscribers. I assure you, Mr. Lewes and I are glad to be remembered by you in connection with good efforts. Always, dear Madam,
Yours sincerely
M. E. Lewes.
