The sad news you sent me in your last little note has made me think often, with some sadness, of Mr. Noel. 630 If, when you are writing to him, you ever mention his less intimate friends in England, will you include me among those who have a real interest and sympathy in everything that befals him?
I should like very much to know how you are, and how both you and Sara bear the addition of anxiety and exertion which Frank must cause you.
Mr. Chapman has had a return of dangerous symptoms in the lungs, and has been staying at Hastings in consequence. He seems still altogether in uncertainty whether his business will be carried on or not. 631 Best love to Sara.
