Dear Cara
I shall get into the train on Wednesday, nothing doubting that your arms will be open to receive me, as they have ever been at the end of my journeyings. I long to see you more than any one, for I have had no glimpse of you during the quarter.
I suppose the Herald came to me this morning that I might see the capital article about the City Mission. 45 Surely the sapient editor of the Standard is not Mr. Drake! 46
I had a call from Mr. Atkinson (of the firm Martineau and Atkinson) the other day -- of which more anon. I am busy today -- have three long letters to write, so good bye, dearest dear. I have three or four dearest dears -- they take it in turn week and week about. Love to Sara and the Pater.
