Dear Creatures
I certainly have been better since yesterday morning, and if I had not been, such kind letters as came to me this morning would have made me so. I think I may hope to travel without a basin by Thursday, 319 so if you hear no more from me expect me on that day. A thousand blessings on you all for your goodness. Don't be figuring to yourselves a very horrid looking visitor. Remember I always make the worst of my ailments.
