6 Blandford Sq. | Monday Morning.
Dearest Barbara
I hope I am not mistaken this morning in saying, Welcome to Blandford Square! The sight of you will be a brightening of Spring.
I want to have you with us to-morrow (Tuesday) evening. Do come, if you can. We expect two or three people -- men not altogether insignificant, whom you might like to see. 573 If you can join us at eight o'clock we shall like the evening very much better. But I should like to kiss you before then, if you can come in for two or three minutes.
Ever yours
M. E. Lewes.
