For a bit of effective writing on the one subject, vide Col. Hamley's letter in this morning's Times.
It is the only thoroughly good bit I have yet seen. I was afraid you might by some chance miss it, if you did not know Col. Hamley's name well enough to be drawn by it at once. I have written to thank him and beg him to go on.
My head is very bad still.
