My dear Barbara
I thoroughly understood that the painful question about E. B. 15 was not to be mentioned. Be sure that it will remain unuttered by me.
We have been to Weybridge today and I am come back tired. 16 It was better for me not to see more than that one sketch of reeds and moonlight -- I have carried away so vivid a remembrance of that.
The damsel will not be wanted until the late autumn, I think.
