Madame Bodichon assures me that you would like to come and see me with your friend Miss North, 535 and that Miss North herself would have some kind pleasure in showing me her admirable drawings.
If Madame Bodichon's benevolent imagination has not misled her, pray carry out this pleasant plan. I am at home every day after 4.30, but the light would then hardly suffice for seeing drawings. I have ceased to make Sunday a special day of reception, but I am then always at home between 2 o'clock and 7. If Sunday is not a convenient day for you and Miss North, I will arrange to be at home on any other day that you are able to fix for so generous a purpose, at an hour when we may expect light.
Of course it may have happened that you and Miss North have hindrances unknown to our friend Mde Bodichon, and I am quite prepared to hear that the visit must be postponed.
