Your letter gave me hearty pleasure, for though I am among new people and very much occupied with egotistic thoughts and feelings, I have not lost old sympathies.
Pray write to me again when there is increasing probability that my most earnest wish for you will be fulfilled. I like to hear all details about yourself and your brother. Your little pictures of quiet happiness do me good.
I have calls for every moment here and I have to struggle with a weak physique that makes everything a labour to me. I know your large heart will not require more than this to make you pardon my writing so shortly to you.
I am just now interrupted, so dear love goodbye and believe me ever
