Several other books will be necessary for the article on Newman. 978 I do not possess one of his works, and I must have them all by me, i.e., all the theological ones. I should also have the [Eclipse of Faith] and Mr. Greyson's [Letters] 979 might contribute something.
I shall be too busy till Christmas to write any article for the January number, but it will be as well to have the Newman books by me, that I may get the reading done and the requisite passages marked. . . .
George unites with me in fond remembrances and good wishes 'e0 propos of your new establishment. 980
