My dear Sir
The M.S. I send today brings my story to the 308th page -- the end of the fourth act. 708 I should like the printing to begin now, because the remainder will certainly not exceed 30 pages, and I shall be more easy than if you were waiting for the end, because my health makes me uncertain about times and seasons. I have sent a motto 709 for the title page with the M.S. Do you think it indicates the story too distinctly?
