I have to thank you for £21, received through Lewes. He will forward you this note in company with the conclusion of Janet, 981 which I hope will not be found an anticlimax.
The rains will render correspondence rather more endurable, 982 and anxious contributors less of a bore. So I shall hope to hear from you soon with the proof. Ever, my dear Sir
