My dear Sir
I am sure you will notice the frightful typographical errors in the article on German literature and elsewhere in the latter part of the Review. 96 Pray do not impute them to my carelessness. The insertion of the article on Sir Robert Peel 97 was not decided on until a few days before the publication of the Review and the consequence was, the printers were so hurried that I did not see a revise of that article or of the two last sheets of the number.
Pray forgive me for troubling you with this note. You see, I care about your approbation. Believe me, my dear Sir,

I am very much dissatisfied with the article on English Literature and should like your opinion on it. I do not wish to employ the same writer again. 98
