April 29. 73.
Dear Mr. Myers
We should like, please, to have you to lunch with us on Sunday the 11th at half past one, and may we beg that you will keep a broad space of time free for us afterwards? 184 In this way we count on the most undisturbed enjoyment of your conversation.
The temptation you offer us is too strong to be resisted, and we gratefully accept your hospitality for Monday and Tuesday, the 19th and 20th, according to the programme which you have kindly made out for us. 185
Mr. Lewes unites with me in thanks and kind regards.
Yours always truly
M. E. Lewes.
