Dear Mr. Harrison,
I understand from Mr. Beesly that you have undertaken in his stead to receive subscriptions towards your branch of Positivist work, 383 so I enclose a cheque for £5 as my contribution, the former one having been paid about this time last year.
I forgot to reproach you for not bringing back S'e9m'e9rie's pamphlet 384 which lies on my conscience among the things I have left unread. With affectionate regard
