Dear Friend
I have just read your kind letter and write now, while I think of it, to ask you to give my kind regards to Mr. Noel 269 and say that if ever his excursions bring him near us again, I shall be very glad to see him.
You know that you will be always welcome, and we have such comfortable lodgings and such a charming cook, that I can put you in clover.
I don't think my sister is in any anxiety about me, since we often write to each other, and I am going to see her at Christmas.
Mr. Lewes sends his kind regards. We are both flourishing.
I have just been spilling my ink, and am in a quandary -- writing this in the interval of hindrance, while the damage is being remedied.
