Your letter to Parker is excellent, bravissimo. I hope you are not yourself the "Liberal Churchman," though I fear there is no one else in Coventry who could write so smartly. I confess I think you have been in the wrong in some of your witticisms at Mr. Sibree's expense, and I should be still more sorry if you twisted the flag of [the Church] as a trick of expediency. 90
I am so sad to hear of Cara's tooth-ache. Send me better news of her when you can.
