Dear Friend
I am pining to see you. I hope you know that I called when Mrs. Parkes and you were out. To save myself that disappointment again, I write to say that I will be at your house at 'bd past 3 tomorrow, in the hope that you will have a walk with me. Of course I don't mean that you should defer doing anything you would like to do for the sake of seeing me, but, engagements apart, wait for me. With kindest regards to Mrs. Parkes
Ever your faithful and affectionate
Marian.
