Cambridge Street | Christmasday.
Dear Friend
I dare say you will be surrounded with friends tomorrow, and it is hopeless that you will be able to come to me. But I shall be alone 422 in the evening and sh[ould] be delighted to see you if you are able and kindly willing to bestow an hour or two on me, at 6 or after.
I am going to see my sister next week, and I fear to-morrow evening will be the only one I shall have at liberty before I go.
Ever your loving
Marian.
