Bravo, dear Bessie!
Your opening address is eloquently wise. Mr. Lewes and I both admire it.
I long to know particulars about your editorship, 931 and am hoping it is the beginning of a new era for you -- your Hegira from all sorts of vexation.
I will say no more this melting afternoon, except that I love you and am a sharer in all good that happens to you.
Marian.
