GE Diary, London, 16-18 March 1879
MS: Berg Collection, New York Public Library. Hitherto unpublished.
Sunday 16 March 1879
Tr'fcbner came, and I arranged with him the printing of Prob[lem] I, [The Study of Psychology] to be published at the beginning of May. He brought Allen Grant's volume on the Colour Sense, 197 of which I read the early chapters in the evening. It settled my determination not to do anything further with the subject for the Problems.
Monday 17 March 1879
Read Problem II, intending to go through it again, before proceeding with Prob. IV and the M.S. on Language.
Tuesday 18 March 1879
Revised again Prob. II to end of [Range of Inner Life.] Went to Bloomsbury Square to sign my Will. J.W.C. came, and brought me the account of sales and purchases of stocks.
